I am pleased to hand you herewith twenty five dollarsEditorial Note: $25.00 in 1886 is the equivalent of $720.67 in 2021. to be placed to my credit. I hope to be able to remit you by the last of June the balance that is due if you will kindly allow me that extension of time.

I have a dear child (daughter) to provide for who must have a share of my earnings. thanking you for the blessed truth you taught me I am
