I have delayed writing you several days past, in the hopes that I could answer your kind letterEditorial Note: See L02076. in person –

This would be – oh such a delightful thing for me to do – to greet you all with a hearty handshake As Written: hand shake , and see again the sparkle of friendship’sAs Written: friendships light, and feel the health glow, which comes from that which the Master of LifeEditorial Note: Jesus Christ says of, - “Love one another”John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. and St. Paul (God bless him) “Love is the fulfilling of the LawRom 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. .

But my going to Boston just now seem impracticable – I shall work on and be patient, believing that all things will work together for goodRom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

I have not yet reached the people I wish to open the subject of forming a class for you – but it can be done – How delightful it will be to have you here – You know you enjoy everything like a little child and you will see so many things here to please you.

I will have to close this hasty note – With much love from my dear wife and I – I remain, dear Teacher
