My dear Mrs. Eddy

I reached home on the 20th. I spent a week in ChicagoEditorial Note: Chicago, Illinois on my return. You will not need to be told that dear Miss Brown gave to me of her time and blessed experience, yet it was not for my sake but for love of the ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science that she gave so freely. I have had some moments of glad and precious realization of Truth and do earnestly desire to grow daily in the understanding of the Life, Love and Truth which is God — I wish I need not speak of doubt or fear or seeming failures but all day I have waged a bitter warfare –

Earnest sincere Christians As Written: christians come to me with the question "are you satisfied"? I have told them yes for I know I am in spite of the ever recurring voice which, in belief, says to me "you are not satisfied and you can never demonstrate the ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science" Since taking the Lectures I have sought to bring the message of healing to my Brother and do so long for the blessed Springing forth of fruit – I have not been able as yet to mature plans for my future location but wherever I may be I hope always to show forth the living Christ — I will not ask for an answer to this but trust a silent message of love may come to me as you read —

With love and hope
