My Dear Mrs. Eddy,

On my return from Boston Saturday Eve, found your letterEditorial Note: This letter is not extant.. Should they come with base of monumentEditorial Note: Mary Baker Eddy ordered a monument to her parents, Mark Baker and Abigail Baker, and to her husband, Asa Gilbert Eddy, to be erected over their graves in Park Cemetery, Tilton, New Hampshire., will see that it is properly set unless I hear from you to the contrary -- think they are taking bad time of the year -- though the snow is not yet very deep, still it seems to me to be a bad time to be sure and have the monument look right when the snow is gone --

Truly Yours
