Rev Mrs. Eddy:
Dear & Honored Teacher,

You never As Written: neve say anythingAs Written:any thing which does not find an echo in the depths of my nature; and your last letterEditorial Note: This letter is not extant. was full of utterances of that kind. We will watch and work and wait in confidence that the need will be supplied.

Here is one good omen. I have got you an important pupil for your next class. He is A Lawrence As Written: Laurence Methodist Minister, with a wife and two children; and his wife is quite willing. He is about 33 to 35 years of age; and of solid understanding and moral rectitude. He is a particular friend of mine, and has studied philosophy and theology with me extensively the last two years. I trust the Lord will make him over to us in the course of the year. If he comes, he will be staunch and true and strong, and may become a power here in my place.

I have had two letters from Rev Mr. WaddellEditorial Note: Possibly H. C. Waddell of Leipsic, Ohio. As he has broken ground where he is, it strikes me labor will pay him better there than anywhere else. — But cannot tell. Events will determine.

I have been urging Miss Lang to action in regard to the proposed academy.

I will see what Further I can do to secure you pupils. Tell me as soon as you can when your next class will commence, so that I can inform Rev. Charles. M. Meldon, which is the name of the clerical pupil I offer you.

At my suggestion he has just put himself under the care of Mrs. Jones for treatment of a belief of hay feverAs Written:hay-fever; and he tells me this morning he begins to see his privilege As Written: privelege to be "whole." At my recommendation he has purchased "Science and Health"Editorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy and that will assure him of his privilegeAs Written:privelege.

Gratefully Your Disciple
Wm I Gill.
