My dear Teacher,

I send you the enclosed article which appeared in one of the leading dailies yesterday. I thought perhaps it was to pave the way for Mrs L.Editorial Note: Likely Annie V. C. Leavitt. here in Chicago. You remember I told you we needed help here. I want to see someone As Written: some one who can and will talk and write of you. and for Christian Science. I must tell you that Alice has been alright since she saw you. She says “My talks with Mrs. Eddy did me a great deal of good, my health never was better, and I never will doubt her again. Am going to write her as soon as I get time, and tell her so,” You will hear from her soon, she is doing good work in PortlandEditorial Note: Portland, Maine. I have not yet taken any students have only had opportunities from persons who just wanted to study for their own use and as they were people of education, I advised them to wait and see if you would not come here another Spring.

Now in regard to myself I feel the need of more instruction, Will you tell me which I had better do; take the course to fit myself for a Teacher or go through another classEditorial Note: Primary class at the Massachusetts Metaphysical College? I think I could arrange to go to Boston this winter. Will you tell me what the tuition would be if I went through a class, so I can arrange my plans. I know what the expense of travelling and board is of course. The devil is very busy in Chicago, and never forgets to call on me. How are you all in Boston.

Please excuse the hasty note and believe me your faithful Student,
E. Brown
