Josiah J. Wright (1821-1900) was born in Swanton, Vermont, and died in Akron, Ohio. He was a Civil War veteran who served in several of Ohio's Volunteer Infantry Regiments. He was the brother-in-law of Lucy B. Wright, a student of Silas J. Sawyer's. There is no record of Josiah J. Wright studying Christian Science or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
