Rosto O. Wood (c.1836-1917) was born in Vermont and died in Foxborough, Massachusetts. He was a homeopathic physician who practiced in several cities in the United States, including Buffalo, New York, and Manchester, New Hampshire. In 1884, Wood became interested in Christian Science, hoping to incorporate healing through prayer into his existing practice.
