Anne E. Wood (1842-1885) was born in New York and died in Iowa. She was a

from Caroline D. Noyes and either Bradford Sherman or Roger Sherman. She was the first
wife of John N. Wood, a dry goods merchant, who wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1885,
inquiring about attending the Massachusetts Metaphysical College.
