Mary E. Winslow (b. Willis) (1833-1904) was born in Alstead, New Hampshire, and died in Townshend, Vermont. In 1859 she married Samuel D. Winslow, in Keene, New Hampshire. He had been a teacher in California but after their marriage became a dry goods merchant in his hometown of Townshend, Vermont, where the couple thereafter lived. Winslow referred Mary W. Hodgkins, her niece by her sister Lois L. Hodgkins (b. Willis), to Susan H. Davidson, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, for Christian Science treatment.
