Charles Winslow (1805-1872) was born in Maine and died in Lynn, Massachusetts. He was a Quaker and worked as a shoe manufacturer. He married Abbie M. Phillips in Lynn in 1832. Mary Baker Eddy, a friend of the Phillips family, visited the Winslows in Lynn in August 1867 and again for two days in October 1868.
