Abbie M. Winslow (1800-1887) was born and died in Lynn, Massachusetts.
She was a Quaker and married Charles Winslow, a shoe manufacturer, in Lynn in 1832. Mary
Baker Eddy, a friend of the Phillips family (Winslow's maiden name), visited the
Winslows in Lynn in August 1867 and again for two days in October 1868. Eddy writes to
Sarah O. Bagley, one of Eddy's first students, that during this time she healed Winslow,
who had been unable to walk for years.
