James P. Wilson (1824-1885) was born in Leeds, England, and died in Tekonsha, Michigan. He was a pharmacist who owned and operated a pharmacy in Tekonsha. Although he expressed an interest in Christian Science, there is no record of him studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
