George Williams (1870-1944) was born in Columbus, Wisconsin, and died in
Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He was a lawyer and the son of Mattie Williams, a student of Mary
Baker Eddy's. In 1893, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelors of
Laws and was admitted to the State Bar of Wisconsin in 1895. He was a partner with his
younger brother, Charles, in the law firm of Williams & Williams in Oshkosh,
Wisconsin. There is no record of him studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the
Church of Christ (Scientist).
