Robert Wild (1814-1892) was born in Middleton Cheney, England, and died in Marengo, Illinois. He was a carpenter by trade. Despite expressing an interest in Christian Science, there is no record of him studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
