Lydia M. Walker (1847-1916) was born in Abington, Massachusetts, and died
in Schuyler, Nebraska. In 1885 she wrote to Mary Baker Eddy to arrange a meeting with
Eddy in Boston, which was accepted. Walker was living in Colfax, Nebraska, at the time
with her husband, William M. Walker, and children. It appears she met with Eddy on a
trip back to New England while staying with her father, Theodore Reed, in Rockland,
Massachusetts.
