Harriet A. Walker (1843-1929) was born in Randolph, Ohio, and died in
Boylston, Massachusetts. She was the wife of an influential milk dealer and farmer,
Lyman S. Walker. After suffering with chronic rheumatism for many years, she received
Christian Science treatment through prayer from Mrs. Calvin C. Foster, a student of Mary
Baker Eddy's. Walker was healed and her testimony was published in the October 1886
issue of
The Christian Science Journal.
