Charles P. Wagner (1853-1897) was born in Pennsylvania and died in Sayre,
Pennsylvania. He worked as a telegraph operator in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. He later
moved to Wysox, Pennsylvania, and worked as a station agent there until his death.
Wagner married Sarah E. Wagner (b. Keeler) in 1882. After she passed away in 1886, he
married Harriet E. Wagner (b. Colt) in Bradford, Pennsylvania, in 1889. Wagner wrote to
Mary Baker Eddy in 1886 to order a copy of
Science and Health with Key
to the Scriptures. Based on the records available, we have found no further
information concerning his involvement with Christian Science.
