Simon W. Tucker (c.1843-1932) was born in Thompson, Connecticut, and died
in Worcester, Massachusetts. He was a Christian Scientist who studied with Albert B.
Dorman, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's. After studying with Dorman, he practiced in
Springfield and then in Worcester from 1886 until about 1896. Tucker remained in
Worcester for the remainder of his life, working several jobs, including upholsterer,
mechanic, and driver.
