Emily J. Thrall (1846-1938) was born and died in Stafford, Connecticut. In 1887, she was the president of the Girls' Library Club which raised funds for the local public library. She also gave a talk at a Chautauqua Circle on "Celebrated Monasteries." In 1886, she wrote to Mary Baker Eddy to order a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
