Nancy N. Thompson (1839-1913) was born in Barnet, Vermont, and died in
Walla Walla, Washington. She was the wife of Asa B. Thompson, a medical doctor who
practiced in Barnet for over 30 years. In 1885, Mary E. Harris, a student of Mary Baker
Eddy's, wrote to Eddy on behalf of Asa and Nancy N. Thompson, expressing their desire
for their son, Frank B. Thompson, to study with Eddy. In June 1902, Nancy N. Thompson
joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. She was also a
member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Walla Walla.
