George E. Thompson (1859-c.1940) was born in Bath, Maine, and most likely died in Bath. He and his brother, Frank N. Thompson, owned and operated Thompson Bros., a clothier in Bath. Although he expressed an interest in Christian Science, there is no record of him studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
