Ella Thompson-Hall (b. Thompson) (1872-1967) was born in Minneapolis,
Minnesota, and died in Boston, Massachusetts. She was an artist and a cellist. She
married Robert T. Hall in Minneapolis in 1898. He was an opera singer and vocal teacher
and later operated a jewelry engraving business. He was also a Mason. After marrying
they settled in Boston where they remained for the rest of their lives. Thompson-Hall
joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, on June 5, 1906.
She was the daughter of Emma A. Thompson and the sister of Abigail Dyer Thompson, both
students of Mary Baker Eddy's who were active in the establishment of Christian Science
in Minneapolis.
