Nellie S. Thomas (1865-1947) was born in Holden, Maine, and died in
Belmont, Massachusetts. She married David W. Thomas, a contractor, in 1883. She joined
The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, in June 1905. Thomas
worked as a Christian Science practitioner and was listed in the directory of
The Christian Science Journal from 1906 until 1946. Although she
expressed an interest in studying with Mary Baker Eddy, there is no record of her doing
so.
