Myra F. Taplin (1864-1957) was born in Irasburg, Vermont, and died in Burlington, Vermont. She graduated from the Mary Fletcher Hospital School of Nursing in Burlington in 1903 and practiced nursing for many years. She was a member of the First Congregationalist Church. Taplin wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1886 to order copies of Christian Healing, The People's God, Historical Sketch of Metaphysical Healing, and Defence of Christian Science. Based on the records available, we have found no further information concerning her involvement with Christian Science.
