Carrie E. Stratton (1863-1958), later Carrie E. Fisher, was born in Albion, Maine, and died in Amherst, New Hampshire. Records suggest that Stratton studied with Mary Baker Eddy in the Primary class of November 1884. She joined the Christian Scientist Association in December 1884 and was an active member of the Association and the Church of Christ, Scientist, until late 1888 when she resigned from the Association.
