Hannah Frances Strange (b. Blanchard) (1844-1907) was born in Hudson, Maine, and died in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Sometime prior to 1860 she moved with her family to Oneida Township, Michigan, where she became a primary school teacher. She married Daniel Strange in Oneida Township in 1868. He was also a teacher and later became a school superintendent. His family were known as the first settlers in Oneida Township, and his father helped lay out the nearby city of Grand Ledge, Michigan. By 1900 Strange had moved to Lansing, Michigan, and after that to Grand Rapids where she remained for the rest of her life. She was buried in Grand Ledge. In 1886 Strange wrote a letter to Mary Baker Eddy to order a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
