Elliot Stock (1838-1911) was born in an unknown location and died in London, England. He was a bookseller and publisher who founded his business in 1859 at 62 Paternoster Row, London, England. In 1886, following a recommendation from William A. Kellaway, Mary Baker Eddy wrote to Stock asking for his help in getting Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures copyrighted in England.
