Caroline O. Stanwood (1832-1903) was born in Wilkinson County, Mississippi, and died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was introduced to Christian Science in 1884 after meeting Ellen Brown Linscott in Chicago, Illinois. Although Stanwood expressed an interest in studying with Mary Baker Eddy, there is no record of her doing so.
