Albert G. Stahl (1858-1888) was born and died in Illinois. He spent much
of his adult life in Wisconsin, where he worked as a book agent. Stahl first studied
Christian Science with Silas J. and Jennie E. Sawyer. He then became a student of Mary
Baker Eddy, completing the Normal class in October 1886 and becoming a member of both
the Christian Scientist Association and the National Christian Scientist Association
that same year. Stahl was a charter member of the Students Christian Scientist
Association of Milwaukee, No. 11. He was listed as a teacher at the Wisconsin
Metaphysical Institute in
The Christian Science Journal in
1887.
