Nellie M. Spurr (1853-1900) was born and died in Methuen, Massachusetts.
She worked as a school teacher. Spurr joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in
Boston, Massachusetts, on December 31, 1892, and was a member of the National Christian
Scientist Association. She was a student of Julia S. Bartlett's, who was a student of
Mary Baker Eddy's. Although she expressed an interest in studying at the Massachusetts
Metaphysical College, there is no record of her doing so.
