Mary E. Sprague (c.1853-1923) was born in Ellsworth, Maine, and died in Somerville, Massachusetts. She was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, studying with her in the spring of 1879. She joined the Christian Scientist Association in March 1880 and was an active member until 1883. She was later expelled from the Association for reasons unknown.
