Clara A. Smith (1850-1924) was born in Sutton, New Hampshire, and died in Framingham, Massachusetts. She married Alonzo W. Smith in 1869, and after his death in 1906, married Charles Wheeler in 1909. In 1885, she wrote to Mary Baker Eddy, asking for information about studying at the Massachusetts Metaphysical College.
