Albert A. Smith (1867-?) was born in Brighton, Massachusetts, and died in
an unknown location. He worked as a provisions dealer and was initiated as a member of
the Bethesda Freemason Lodge in Brighton, Massachusetts, in 1897. Although his mother,
Melissa J. Smith, was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, there is no record of Smith
studying with Eddy or uniting with The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston,
Massachusetts.
