Turner N. Seward (1833-1912) was born in Wakefield, New Hampshire, and
died in Beverly, Massachusetts. He was a farmer and Civil War veteran, who served in
Company A, 13th New Hampshire Volunteer Infantry. He was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's,
taking Primary class (1886) alongside his wife, Carrie, with both joining the Christian
Scientist Association on May 5, 1886.
