Samuel Seward (1830-1910) was born in Wakefield, New Hampshire, and died
in Malden, Massachusetts. He worked as a carpenter and married Lydia S. Daniels, a
student of Mary Baker Eddy's, in 1855. Although his brother, Turner N. Seward, was also
a student of Eddy's, there is no record of Samuel studying with Eddy or joining The
First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
