William T. Seaver (1838-1924) was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, and died in Springfield, Massachusetts. He was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, studying with her in November 1883 and joining the Christian Scientist Association in June 1886. Seaver never joined the Church and he was never listed as a Christian Science practitioner in The Christian Science Journal, though he did maintain a mental healing and teaching practice in Springfield, Massachusetts, from 1884 until about 1915.
