George O. Sanborn (1829-1912) was born in Gilford, New Hampshire, and died in Laconia, New Hampshire. He was a partner in the Boston-based grocers, Sanborn, Conant & Webber. Sanborn studied Christian Science with an unknown student of Mary Baker Eddy's. He then intended to study with Eddy but there is no record of him doing so.
