Samuel E. Rogers (1822-1918) was born in Flemingsburg, Kentucky, and died
in Omaha, Nebraska. He was a banker and real estate agent who was a charter member of
the Nebraska Territorial Legislature. In 1885 and 1886 he sent money orders to Mary
Baker Eddy to pay for copies of her writings on behalf of James A. Beverly and Amos N.
Fulford.
