Helen M. Rogers (1855-1936) was born in Minerva, Kentucky, and died in Lexington, Kentucky. She became interested in Christian Science in the mid-1880s and was taught first by Emma D. Behan and then by Emma A. Estes, both of whom were students of Mary Baker Eddy's. She was also in the first class of the Board of Education in January 1899. Rogers joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, on March 31, 1894, and was listed as a practitioner of Christian Science in The Christian Science Journal from 1900 until 1933. She had an account of healing published in the Christian Science Sentinel in November 1909.
