Elizabeth R. Robley (1855-1940) was born in Dedham, Massachusetts, and died in San Francisco, California. She trained as a music teacher at Wheaton Female Seminary (now Wheaton College) and went on to teach in Newton and Medford, Massachusetts, before moving to San Francisco. Although she expressed an interest in Christian Science, there is no record of her studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
