Eliza A. Roberts (b. Lyons) (1847-1926) was born in Brookfield, Vermont,
and died in Boston, Massachusetts. She lived with her family in Randolph, Vermont. In
1865, she moved to Hinsdale, New Hampshire, where she married John J. Roberts, a woolen
mill worker, in 1866. They lived there for years, and by 1910 they had moved to Boston.
In 1886, Roberts wrote to Mary Baker Eddy asking for a recommendation of a Christian
Science teacher in New Hampshire.
