Emma C. Read (c. 1845-1910) was born in an unknown location and died in New Orleans, Louisiana. She worked as a teacher. Laura V. Lathrop, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, wrote to Calvin A. Frye in 1886, requesting that a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures she had purchased be sent to Read.
