Eva E. Potter (c. 1854-1931) was born in Maine and died in Los Angeles,
California. She became interested in Christian Science in early 1885, receiving
Christian Science treatment through prayer from Alice B. Poole, a student of Mary Baker
Eddy's. Potter later took Primary class instruction and joined The First Church of
Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, in January 1898 and was a member until her
passing.
