Levi T. Piper (1832-1903) was born in Tuftonboro, New Hampshire, and died in Greeley, Colorado. In 1861, in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, he married Caroline "Carrie" M. Piper (b. Hersey). Piper was a Civil War veteran, serving in Tuftonboro, New Hampshire. He then worked as a farmer. Piper wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1886 to order a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
