Mary A. Pine (1843-1926) was born in New York and died in Rochester, New York. Her older sisters, Sarah A. Pine and Helen P. Smith, were students of Mary Baker Eddy's. Pine joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, on March 31, 1894. She was listed in the directory of The Christian Science Journal as a Christian Science practitioner in Rochester from 1899 until her death.
