Emily Petty (1844-1892) was born in Westport, Massachusetts, and died Fall River, Massachusetts. She was a dressmaker who lived and worked in Fall River for over 20 years. She was introduced to Christian Science by Seabury T. and Delia Manley, who were both students of Mary Baker Eddy's. There is no record of Petty studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
