Nancy Jane "Jennie" Perry (b. Little) (1862-1887) was born in Amboy, Illinois, and died in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Her father was Josiah Little who founded the first and largest bank in Lee County, Illinois, and served as county treasurer. In 1881 she married Isaac N. Perry and the couple lived in Lacrosse. Perry's husband was also engaged in banking, working as a cashier at several banks before founding the Union National Bank of La Crosse. He also served as secretary of the Wisconsin Lumber & Manufacturing Co. and as the treasurer of the La Crosse Fuel Co. In 1886 Perry wrote to Mary Baker Eddy to order a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
