Tamson Maria Pearson (1843-1927) was a lifelong resident of Newburyport, Massachusetts. She was married to Edmund C. Pearson (1841-1897), a Civil War veteran who served in Company A of the Massachusetts 48th Regiment. Records suggest that the Pearsons were given Christian Science treatment by Asa G. Eddy, possibly in late 1876.
