Mary A. Parker (b. Williams) (1842-1893) was born in Pennsylvania and
died in Olathe, Kansas. In 1868 she married George W. Parker in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania. He was a farmer and a steward. By 1870 they had relocated to Lexington,
Kansas, and by the mid-1880s to Olathe, where Parker remained for the rest of her life.
In 1886, Parker was sent
The Christian Science Journal and
copies of several of Mary Baker Eddy's writings by her acquaintance, Katie G.
Behan.
